BOOKING POLICY

When you schedule an appointment with us, you will receive an email confirmation as soon as your appointment is booked and a reminder 48 hours in advance. We kindly ask that you make a note of your appointment details in another location as well. Please note, not receiving or seeing the reminder email does not excuse missed appointments, and it will not be considered a valid reason for missing your booking.

Failure to confirm your appointment does not qualify as a cancellation. Any changes to your appointment, including rescheduling or cancellations, must be made directly through the salon via phone or email.

If you need to cancel an appointment scheduled for the beginning of the week and the salon is closed over the weekend, we require that you notify us via email.

CANCELATION POLICY

We kindly request a 48-hour notice to reschedule, change, or cancel an appointment. Since our salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays, cancellations for Tuesday appointments must be made before closing time on Saturday via phone, or by email over the weekend.

For cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, we will make every effort to fill your appointment slot with another guest. If successful, no cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellation Fees:

  • A 50% charge of the appointment cost will be applied for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice.

  • A 100% charge of the appointment cost will be applied for no-show appointments.

If we are unable to process the payment, the client will not be able to book future appointments with any stylist until the outstanding fee is settled.

All fees are subject to the discretion of the salon and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis


REFUND POLICY

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're unhappy with your hair following your visit, please contact us within 10 days of your service for an adjustment, which may be done by your original stylist or another stylist. The salon reserves the right to assess eligibility for adjustments on a case-by-case basis, and only one complimentary fix will be provided.

We do not offer refunds on services, hair extensions, gift cards, or products. Due to hygiene concerns, items such as hair tools, brushes, clips, and combs are final sale.

For products, we will offer store credit or an exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided only a minimal amount has been used. If a refund is necessary due to backorders, we will process it accordingly. For online purchases, any return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.


HAIR EXTENSION POLICY

Consultation

  • Mandatory Consultation: A consultation is required for all new hair extension clients. This helps us determine the best extension method for your hair type, lifestyle, and desired look.

  • Non-Refundable Consultation Fee: A $50 non-refundable consultation fee will be applied, which will go towards your final service cost if booked.

  • Extension Type & Color Match: During the consultation, we will determine the appropriate type of extension (e.g., tape-in, weft, fusion, etc.) and ensure a seamless color match.

Hair Extension Booking Process

Payment for Hair Order

  • After the consultation, once the type of hair extensions has been agreed upon, a 100% payment for the cost of the hair is required to place your order.

  • This payment is non-refundable and ensures your hair extensions are custom-ordered for your specific needs. We cannot offer refunds on hair once the order has been placed.

Booking the Installation

  • Once your payment for the hair order is received, we will proceed to schedule your installation appointment.

  • Appointments can only be booked after full payment for the hair extensions has been made. The installation fee is separate and will be due on the day of your service.

Non-Refundable Hair Orders

  • All hair extension orders are final and non-refundable. This policy is in place due to the custom nature of each order, tailored specifically to your hair color, length, and texture.

Hair Appointment Canceling/Rescheduling

• We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Hair Quality & Sourcing

  • High-Quality Extensions: We exclusively use 100% human, Remy hair for all extension services to ensure the best quality and longevity. Our suppliers are carefully vetted to ensure ethical sourcing.

  • Custom Orders: Some hair extensions may need to be custom-ordered based on length, texture, or color, which may extend the timeline for your appointment.

Maintenance & Aftercare

  • Maintenance Appointments: Regular maintenance is essential to keep your extensions looking flawless. We recommend a maintenance check every 6–8 weeks, depending on the extension type and natural hair growth.

  • Aftercare Instructions: Clients will receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure longevity and maintain the quality of their extensions. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in damage to both the extensions and natural hair.

  • Product Recommendations: We will recommend specific salon-quality products to care for your extensions at home. Use of non-recommended products may void any guarantees on your service.

Removal & Reapplication

  • Professional Removal Only: Extensions must be professionally removed at our salon to avoid damage to your natural hair. Unauthorized removal at home may lead to breakage or other complications.

  • Reapplication Services: We offer extension reapplication services, which are necessary to maintain a fresh look. This will be discussed during your consultation or follow-up appointments.

Guarantees & Refunds

  • Quality Guarantee: We guarantee the quality of our hair extensions for up to 8 weeks, provided the recommended aftercare and maintenance schedules are followed.

  • No Refunds on Hair Extensions: Due to the personalized nature of hair extensions, we do not offer refunds on extension services or hair products. However, we will address any concerns during your follow-up appointments.

  • Adjustments: If you have any issues with the installation or appearance of your extensions, we offer a complimentary adjustment within 7 days of your original appointment.

Client Responsibility

  • Hair Health: It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any hair or scalp issues that may affect the installation or maintenance of hair extensions.

  • Home Care: Following the aftercare instructions provided by your stylist is critical to ensure the longevity of your extensions. We are not responsible for damage due to improper care or neglect.

Client-Provided Hair Extensions

At Honeycomb, we ensure the highest quality and ethical sourcing of the hair extensions we provide. For clients who choose to bring their own hair extensions, we have established the following policies:

Acceptance of Client-Provided Extensions

  • Consultation Required: Clients must bring the extensions to a mandatory consultation prior to the installation appointment. This allows our stylists to evaluate the quality, condition, and suitability of the extensions for your desired service.

  • Hair Quality Disclaimer: Honeycomb Hair Lounge cannot guarantee the quality, longevity, or overall results when using client-provided extensions. We will do our best to work with the hair, but issues such as shedding, tangling, and improper blending may arise, for which we are not liable.

  • Health & Safety: If the extensions are deemed to be of substandard quality or pose a risk to your natural hair or scalp, we reserve the right to refuse the service.

Additional Fees

  • Installation Fee: A higher installation fee may apply for client-provided extensions, as additional time may be required to assess, prepare, or correct issues.

  • No Refunds or Adjustments: We do not offer refunds or adjustments for services involving client-provided extensions. If the final result does not meet expectations due to the quality or condition of the hair brought in, we are not responsible for corrections or modifications.

No Guarantees

  • No Warranty on Extensions: Honeycomb Hair Lounge offers no warranty on the performance or longevity of client-provided extensions. Any defects or issues that arise with the hair itself (e.g., excessive shedding, matting, color fading) are the responsibility of the client and the manufacturer.

Maintenance and Aftercare

  • Care Requirements: While we will provide general aftercare advice, the client is responsible for understanding the maintenance requirements of the extensions they bring. The use of non-salon-supplied extensions may lead to different care requirements, which the client must adhere to.

By bringing in your own extensions, you acknowledge and accept that the final results may vary from those achieved with salon-sourced hair and that Honeycomb Hair Lounge assumes no responsibility for any issues resulting from the use of client-provided hair.
