Terms of Service

By booking an appointment or engaging in any of our services or products you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please review these terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services.

1. Scope of Services

Honeycomb Hair Lounge offers a range of professional hair services, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments. While we strive to deliver the highest level of quality, outcomes may vary depending on individual hair characteristics, previous treatments, and adherence to aftercare guidelines.

2. Appointment Booking and Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Appointments can be made via phone, our online booking system, or in person. All clients are required to provide accurate and complete contact details to facilitate appointment confirmations.

  • Cancellation and Rescheduling: We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service.

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a charge for 100% of the scheduled service.

3. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment may have their service modified or rescheduled. A late arrival fee may apply. Honeycomb Hair Lounge reserves the right to cancel or adjust appointments based on the degree of lateness to ensure the timely flow of services for all clients.

4. Client Obligations

Clients are responsible for providing truthful and accurate information regarding their hair history, including prior chemical treatments, sensitivities, and allergies. Honeycomb Hair Lounge will not be liable for adverse outcomes arising from undisclosed information or failure to follow professional advice or aftercare instructions.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee and Refund Policy

  • Adjustments: Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're unhappy with your hair following your visit, please contact us within 10 days of your service for an adjustment, which may be done by your original stylist or another stylist. The salon reserves the right to assess eligibility for adjustments on a case-by-case basis, and only one complimentary fix will be provided.

    • Refunds: We do not offer refunds on services, hair extensions, gift cards, or products. Due to hygiene concerns, items such as hair tools, brushes, clips, and combs are final sale.

    For products, we will offer store credit or an exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided only a minimal amount has been used. If a refund is necessary due to backorders, we will process it accordingly. For online purchases, any return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.

6. Pricing and Payments

  • Pricing: Service prices are as listed on our online booking link. Honeycomb Hair Lounge reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice.

  • Payment Methods: Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit cards, and other payment methods as indicated in our payment policy.

  • Gratuities: Gratuities are appreciated for exceptional service but are entirely at the client’s discretion.

7. Health and Safety Protocols

Honeycomb Hair Lounge prioritizes the health and safety of our clients and staff. We maintain stringent hygiene and sanitation practices in compliance with local regulations. Clients exhibiting signs of illness are kindly requested to reschedule their appointments to ensure the safety of others.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Honeycomb Hair Lounge reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse service to any client for reasons including, but not limited to, inappropriate conduct, harassment, or non-compliance with salon policies. We also reserve the right to terminate any client relationship as deemed necessary for the safety and well-being of our staff and other clients.

9. Limitation of Liability

Honeycomb Hair Lounge and its staff shall not be liable for any adverse reactions, damages, or losses arising from pre-existing conditions, misuse of products, or failure to follow aftercare instructions. Clients must promptly notify us of any concerns or adverse reactions within seven (7) days for an adjustment to be considered.

10. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during their visit. Honeycomb Hair Lounge is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal items while on the premises.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect the privacy of our clients. Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing services and improving the customer experience. We do not share or sell personal data to third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.

12. Modifications to Terms of Service

Honeycomb Hair Lounge reserves the right to update or amend these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the client to review these terms periodically for any updates. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the province of Saskatchewan. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saskatchewan.
